Chaswyck Ibn Al Riyah

And then Allah said to the wind:
I will that a creature proceed from thee. Condense thyself! And the wind condensed itself and the result was the Arabian horse!"
~ Adapted from Marguerite Henry, King of the Wind ~

"He is a World Class Straight Egyptian colt and we don't like to use those words very often as they get used too much"
~ Jennifer Oden, International photographer and breeder of National and International Champions. ~

Sparky

Chaswyck Ibn Al Riyah truly reflects his name ‘Son of the Wind’ with his effortless, light-as-a- feather, floating movement, that holds such an incredible elevation and extended suspension that he gives the viewer an idea of what it is to fly without wings and to be a creation of the wind itself. With his dry desert type face, large expressive eyes, tiny chiseled ears, well laid back shoulder, short, strong back, excellent hip to buttock and level croup, he truly reflects the ‘Standard of Excellence’, which breeders strive to create and maintain.

Chaswyck Ibn Al Riyah’s pedigree denotes a rich tapestry of European and American Breeding. His dam’s line is equally as strong as his incredible sire line with International and World Champions throughout his entire pedigree. His dam, GR Madarah, is sired by GR Amaretto, one of the most decorated sons of Classic Shadwan, an International Reserve Champion Stallion at Kaub/Germany and Reserve Champion Stallion at the European Egyptian Event. GR Amaretto, whose titles include European Egyptian Event Senior Champion Stallion, German National Reserve Junior Champion and Gold Award at the German Stallion Show, is out of Halim’s Asmara, International Champion mare at the European Egyptian Event and the daughter of twice Reserve World Champion mare, Lancer’s Asmara. GR Madarah’s dam’s line is one that draws the attention of every astute Straight Egyptian Arabian breeder. Her grandsire is the legendary producing and "ultra exotic" stallion, Kaisoon and Madarah’s grand dam is none other than Bint Magdi

Chaswyck Ibn Al Riyah is sired by Baarafic (Imperial Baarez x Azaamah), who was twice awarded Supreme Champion at the Pan Pacific under two highly internationally acclaimed judges, Elisabeth Salmon and Dr Nasr Marei, as a yearling and a two year old. Baarafic himself, sired by Imperial Baarez, was bred at Imperial Stud, which was acclaimed as one of America’s largest and most prestigious studs. Imperial Baarez was awarded Reserve World Champion in Paris at the Salon Du Sheval and has competed successfully in dressage. He now resides in Cairo, Egypt.

Baarafic’s dam, Azaamah, has produced champions on 3 continents. Azaamah is sired by the super sire, Tammen (owned by Patrick Swayze), a winner in both performance (English Pleasure) and in halter. Azaamah is the daughter of Aleeyah, a producer of successful show winners in both performance and halter.

Chaswyck Ibn Al Riyah is sure to make an astounding impact nationally and internationally in the years to come, as he shines as a bright light in the breeding barn and reflects the Arabian standard of being, a true “drinker of the wind”.
